Metropolitan Magistrate Maruf Hossain granted the bail upon a bond of Tk 10,000 after Milon surrendered before the court seeking bail.

Earlier, Milon, also the International Affairs Secretary of the central BNP committee, secured an interim bail for six weeks from the High Court in the case. But the bail period expired on Tuesday.
The BNP leader’s counsel Advocate Masud Ahmed Talukder told bdnews24.com that Milon is one of the accused in a case filed by the police in connection with a crude bomb explosion in front of the Lotus Tower in the city’s Gulshan area on November 3 last year.
