The Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant, in photos

After a decade of construction and preparation, and efforts to meet all necessary international conditions, the first unit of the Rooppur Nuclear Power Plant began fuel loading on Tuesday. With this step, Bangladesh officially enters the era of nuclear power. Previously, the “commissioning license” was issued on Apr 16.
