Flags, fandom and football fever

The FIFA World Cup transforms more than stadiums -- it reshapes Bangladesh's streets. Across Dhaka, rooftops, bridges, alleyways and riverboats are awash with the colours of the 48 competing nations. While Brazil and Argentina continue to command the largest followings, flags of Iran and many other countries also flutter across the capital. From jerseys to giant banners, supporters are proudly wearing their passion on their sleeves.
