Chhatra Dal holds ‘welcome procession’ on DU campus over Tarique’s homecoming

Activists chant slogans hailing Tarique Rahman and cheering his homecoming

The Dhaka University wing of Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal, the student wing of BNP, have taken out a “welcome rally” on the campus ahead of the homecoming of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

The procession started from the Payra Chattar at Teacher-Student Centre (TSC) around 3:45pm on Tuesday.

Marching through the VC Chattar, Mall Chattar, Arts Faculty, the procession ended at Ruqayyah Hall.

The leaders and activists of Chhatra Dal chanted slogans hailing Tarique Rahman and cheering his homecoming.

Different residential hall units took part in the procession.
