Dhaka, Feb 25 (bdnews24.com) – Retired brigadier general Zia Ahmed, has become chairman of telecoms regulator BTRC.
An establishment ministry order Tuesday announced the appointment.
The former army Signals officer was appointed to Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission on a three-year contract, the order said.
Ahmed's predecessor Manjurul Alam, a retired major general, resigned the post on Feb. 10.
