Chittagong, May 15 (BDNEWS) – Writer Umratul Fazal, wife of eminent litterateur and former chancellor of Chittagong University Abul Fazal, died of old age complications early Sunday at a Chittagong clinic (Inna… …razeun).
She was 84.
She is survived by five sons, one daughter and number of relatives to mourn her death. Journalist Abul Momen is one of her sons.
Umratul Fazal was the president of Bangladesh Mohila Parishad Chittagong chapter from 1970 to till death.
Her namaz-e-janaza will be held at Kazir dewry mosque premises after the Asr prayer. She will be buried at the Kazi Bari family graveyard beside her husband Abul Fazal and a grand son.
