Mujaheed faced the trial on seven charges of crimes against humanity, including genocide, murder, torture, conspiracy, planning incitement and complicity in atrocities during the 1971 Liberation War.
Wednesday’s verdict will come two days after the first tribunal of Bangladesh sentenced the party's former chief Ghulam Azam to 90 years in jail.

The tribunal chief, Justice Obaidul Hassan, and two other judges-- Justice Md Mujibur Rahman Mia and Judge Shahinur Islam-- will be around to award the verdict with Mujahid in the dock.
Like other accused in war crimes cases, Mujaheed, 66, was tried under the International Crimes (Tribunals) Act 1973.
He was detained on June 29, 2010 on charges of defying court orders and was shown arrested in the war crimes case on August 2, 2010.
He was indicted on June 21, 2012, and his formal trial began on July 19, 2012.
The prosecution began its closing arguments on May 7 and concluded it on May 16 while the defence began its closing arguments on May 22 and concluded it on June 4.
Prosecutor Mokhlesur Rahman Badal had hoped that 34 accusations, in the seven charges, against Mujaheed would be established.
The tribunal on June 21 indicted the Jamaat leader for allegedly committing crimes against humanity including murder, genocide, arson and loot.
