Dhaka, May 7 (BDNEWS) – The government has decided to appoint Mahmood Hasan, the current ambassador of Bangladesh to Egypt, as the next ambassador to France.
In his diplomatic career, Mahmood Hasan served in the foreign ministry, and the Bangladesh missions in New Delhi, Yangon, Kabul and Paris.
He also served in the SAARC secretariat as director.
A career diplomat of the 1979 batch of BCS (Foreign Affairs) Mahmood Hasan earned his honours and masters degrees in Economics from Dhaka University. He also obtained his diploma in French language and International Relations in Paris.
