Bangladesh leader Yunus, his daughter join reception hosted by Trump

The chief adviser extends an invitation to Trump to visit Bangladesh

Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus and his daughter Deena Yunus have attended a reception hosted by US President Donald Trump in New York.

The chief adviser extended an invitation to Trump to visit Bangladesh at his convenience, state news agency BSS reports.

During the reception on Sept 23, Trump and First Lady Melania Trump posed for a picture with Yunus and his daughter. The photo was posted on the chief adviser's verified Facebook account on Friday.

The interim government head is now in the US to attend the 80th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) session. He is scheduled to return home on Oct 2.
