RAB arrests Subrata Bain’s daughter at Cumilla Central Jail gate

Police are investigating her involvement in a criminal syndicate

The Rapid Action Battalion has arrested the daughter of gangster Subrata Bain aka Md Fateh Ali.

Sabina Yasmin Bithi was arrested on Monday at the main entrance to the Cumilla Central Jail.

Major Sadman Ibne Alam, company commander of RAB-11, confirmed the arrest. Bithi was handed over to police.

Subrata was transferred to the Cumilla Central Jail from Narayanganj on Dec 5.

Police said they were investigating whether Bithi was involved in the criminal syndicate’s financial transactions, communication network, and in assisting fugitive associates.
