Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has met a delegation of representatives from the Chevron Corporation, the American energy giant.

The meeting took place at the premier’s offices at the Cabinet Division of the Secretariat on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Javier La Rosa, president of Chevron’s Base Assets and Emerging Countries Division, and Eric M Walker, president of Chevron Bangladesh, were part of the delegation.

Minister of Power and Energy Iqbal Hassan Mahmood, State Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Aninda Islam Amit, and the Prime Minister’s Advisor on Finance and Planning Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir also attended the meeting.
