Written exams for assistant teacher posts across eight divisions on Jan 2

The recruitment notification for primary school assistant teachers was published in two phases

Although the recruitment notifications were issued in two phases, the written examination for assistant teacher positions in government primary schools across all eight divisions will be held simultaneously on Jan 2.

Masud Akhtar Khan, additional secretary of the school division at the primary education ministry, confirmed that the exam will begin at 10am.

In the first phase, published on Nov 5, as many as 10,219 assistant teacher positions were advertised for schools in Rajshahi, Rangpur, Sylhet, Khulna, Barishal, and Mymensingh divisions.

The second phase, on Nov 12, covered 4,166 positions in Dhaka and Chattogram divisions.
