Law Advisor Asif Nazrul and Housing and Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan have inspected the renovation work on the main building of the International Crimes Tribunal.

They went for the inspection at 8:30am on Tuesday.

Attorney General Md Asaduzzaman, International Crimes Tribunal Chief Prosecutor Mohammad Tajul Islam, Prosecutor Gazi MH Tamim and several others accompanied them.

Trials of crimes against humanity committed during the July Uprising are proceeding in full swing at the tribunal. Formal charges have been framed in several cases and testimony is being recorded. Testimony in a case accusing ousted prime minister Sheikh Hasina is in its final stages.

The trial process is under way at Tribunal-1 and Tribunal-2. However, as the renovation work on the main building is not yet complete, hearings at the Tribunal-2 are being held in a tin shed.
