Pabna-1, Pabna-2 polls to be held on Feb 12 under September 2025 boundaries

A four-member Appellate Division bench led by the chief justice made the decision on Thursday

The Pabna-1 and Pabna-2 constituencies will go to the polls alongside the rest of the country during the 13th parliamentary election on Feb 12 with the revised boundaries set out by the Election Commission in its September, 2025 gazette.

A four-member bench of the Appellate Division led by the chief justice made the decision on Thursday after approving a leave to appeal petition against the High Court’s decision on the matter.

As a result, voting in the two Pabna constituencies will proceed according to the boundaries set by the Election Commission in its gazette on Sept 4, 2025.

This means that the final boundaries for the race will see the Pabna-1 seat consisting of Santhia Upazila, while Pabna-2 will consist of Sujanagar Upazila and Bera Upazila.
