Election Commission to hold talks with 12 more political parties Sunday

The Election Commission (EC) will sit with 12 more political parties on Sunday as part of its ongoing series of dialogues with stakeholders ahead of the parliamentary polls.

On Thursday, the first day of talks, the EC completed exchanges with 12 parties in two sessions and announced the schedule and list of parties for the next day.

Md Asadul Haque, public relations assistant director of the EC Secretariat, said the Sunday sessions will run from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm.

Morning session:

•    Gono Front

•    Islamic Front Bangladesh

•    Islami Oikya Jote

•    Bangladesh Supreme Party (BSP)

•    Bangladesh Jatiya Party

Afternoon session:

•    Bangladesh Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JaSaD)

•    Bangladesh National Awami Party

•    Trinamool BNP

•    Krishak Sramik Janata League

•    Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis

•    Islami Andolan Bangladesh
