Jahangirnagar University held its central students’ union (JUCSU) and hall council elections after 33 years on Thursday, Sept 11, 2025. After a tense and prolonged vote-counting process, the results have been announced nearly 48 hours later on Saturday, Sept 13, 2025, by Chief Election Commissioner Prof Md Maniruzzaman in the university’s Senate Hall.
