Dhaka, Feb 26 (bdnews24.com) - An unbeaten century from Javed Ahmed steered Islamic Government High School to a six-wicket win over St Joseph High School in the Standard Chartered Young Tigers National School Cricket Championship Monday.
Islamic Govt. School raced to 220 for four in 29.1 overs in reply to St Joseph's 218 for all in 46.5 overs. Javed hit 114 off just 81 balls.
St Gregory High School (322/7) defeated Mohammadpur Model School & College (128/10) at the Kalindi Cricket ground while Bangladesh Indian International School (344/9) thrashed KL Jubilee School & College (230/10) by 114 runs at the Uttara Friends Club ground.
Jane Alam Sarker High School (323/9) overwhelmed Rising Sun High School (213/10) by 110 runs at the Iqbal Road ground while Kamarpara High School (110/6) beat Combined International School (109/10) by four wickets at the East End Club ground.
