Dhaka, August 7 (BDNEWS) - Ailing footballer Debinash Sangma died of blader cancer Sunday afternoon at a city Hospital Dhaka.
The 75-year-old footballer from Mymensingh has been suffering from bladder cancer since 1997. .
Debinash body will be buried to his Dhahirpara village under Dhobaura Upazilla Monday. .
Debinash had played for Mohammedan Sporting Club mostly in a career spanning from 1956-69. He also played for Victoria Sporting Club and Wanderers Club. .
The defender was also the only Bangladeshi (the then East Pakistan) footballer to represent the Pakistan football team in the pre-Olympics in Iran in 1963..
The footballer, worked in the Housing and Settlement Directorate, is surived by wife and two sons..
