AL MP Altaf Hossain Golandaz attends parliament session to save his membership

Dhaka, Sept 8 (BDNEWS) - All on a sudden, a lawmaker of main opposition Awami League (AL) appeared in the house Thursday apparently to save his membership.

The AL lawmaker, Altaf Hossain Golandaz, elected from Gafargoan, joined the house Thursday evening for a brief period and put his signature in the attendance sheet.

Membership of Golandaz, who did not join the house for the last consecutive 88 days, is supposed to face stripping of his parliamentary membership if he remains absent for two more days.

Awami League has been boycotting the parliament from the 15th session.
