The Rakher Upobash was held on Tuesday, Nov 11, 2025, at the Shri Shri Loknath Brahmachari Ashram in Swamibagh, Dhaka. Every year, Loknath devotees of the Sanatan faith observe this ritual on Saturdays and Tuesdays after the 15th day of the Bengali month of Kartik. Devotees believe that observing this fast brings relief from sorrow, hardship, danger, and illness through the blessings of Baba Loknath.
