Maitree Express back on track after 2 years

Rail links between Bangladesh and India were suspended for more than two years because of the coronavirus pandemic. But rail service between the two countries resumed on Sunday, May 29, 2022, as the 456-seater Maitree Express left Dhaka Cantonment Station for Kolkata carrying 165 passengers. Photo: Asif Mahmud Ove
