BSMMU gets emergency unit

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, or BSMMU, has launched an emergency department for the treatment of critically-ill patients. Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed, the vice-chancellor of the university, inaugurated the new 100-bed unit on Monday, Nov 1, 2021. The unit has labs and equipment to run CT scans and MRIs.
