Bangladesh rolls out Pfizer vaccines

Bangladesh has begun to administer the first doses of Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, which were sent under the global sharing platform COVAX. The vaccine, the third one used by the government against COVID-19, was administered at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Sheikh Russell National Gastroliver Institute and Kurmitola General Hospital on Monday, Jun 21, 2021.
