New sculptures in Suhrawardy Udyan

Amid Hifazat-e Islam leaders' objection to the construction of statues, the government is installing two new sculpture at the Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka as part of efforts to give the park a facelift. One of them will be the statue of Bangabandhu delivering the historic March 7 speech and the other of the surrender of the Pakistani forces.
