Grenade attack: verdict is out

A Dhaka tribunal sentenced 19 people, including former state minister Lutfozzaman Babar and former deputy minister Abdus Salam Pintu, to death and jailed BNP’s acting chief Tarique Rahman and 18 others for life for their roles in brazen grenade attacks on a rally organised by the Awami League on Bangabandhu Avenue in Dhaka 14 years ago.
