Football icon Lionel Messi and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan have finally met in a glittering encounter in Kolkata.

Fans are already raving online after the two legends shook hands and posed for photos, while Shah Rukh’s youngest son Abram Khan also joined Messi for a separate picture.

Messi, in India for the “GOAT Tour of India 2025”, attended an exclusive meet-and-greet where fans captured the magical moment.

Following the event, he visited Salt Lake Stadium, while the “King Khan” returned to Mumbai.

Crowds at the stadium, eager for a glimpse of the Argentine captain, erupted in chaos.

Fans overturned seats, hurled bottles, stormed the pitch, and even damaged the stage during Messi’s brief 20-minute appearance.

Messi has previously played a friendly at that stadium in 2011, when Argentina defeated Venezuela 1–0.

During this visit, he also virtually unveiled a 70-foot-tall statue in Kolkata, marking another memorable highlight of his tour.
