Bangladesh are bowling first in the series-deciding third T20 against Sri Lanka in Colombo, after the hosts won the toss and opted to bat.
For the Tigers, it would be just their second come-from-behind T20 series win. They have levelled T20 series 1-1 (minimum three matches) on three occasions, against Sri Lanka (2024), Zimbabwe (2022), West Indies (2018), but lost all three, ESPNcricinfo reports.
Both teams have made two changes for the series decider. Dinesh Chandimal and Kamindu Mendis have come in for Avishka Fernando and Chamika Karunaratne.
For the visitors, no Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Mohammed Saifuddin, who have been replaced by Mahedi Hasan and Tanzim Hasan.
The host won the first match of the series comfortably, but Bangladesh bounced back in a stunning way to level it 1-1 in Dambulla.
Litton Das played a match winning knock, along with a superb innings by Shamim and a collective effort by the Bangladesh bowlers helped them to a great extent in winning that match.
