Dhaka, July 28 (bdnews24.com) – Stalkers have beaten a father of two daughters for protesting their daily harassment.
The incident took place on Thursday at 3pm, in front of Ahmed Bawani School & College at Old Dhaka.
Bulbul Ahmed said bdnews24.com while he was walking home along with his daughters of eight and tenth class, three youth—'Efat', 'Babu' and 'Faisal'— used some indecent words for his daughters.
As soon as he protested, they beat him up with hands and iron bars, and then ran away as his daughters shouted for help.
He said, "Today (Thursday), I went to escort them from school as my daughters complained that these boys passed lewd remarks at the school girls."
A case has been filed in this connection, Bongshal Police Station officer in-charge Jamir Uddin Ahmed confirmed bdnews24.com.
Efforts are on to arrest the boys, he said.
