Toyota Bangladesh Limited has handed over 36 Toyota Hiace vans to Pragoti Industries Limited at a ceremonial event held at Pragoti’s premises.

Industries Secretary Md Obaidur Rahman attended the programme as chief guest, according to a statement.

He described the delivery as a significant step for the country’s automotive sector, saying the inclusion of globally recognised Toyota vehicles would enhance quality, safety and operational efficiency.

Toyota Bangladesh Managing Director Premmit Singh said the company is committed to providing comprehensive sales, service and spare parts support to all Toyota customers in Bangladesh, including Pragoti Industries.

Bangladesh Steel and Engineering Corporation Chairman and Pragoti Industries Board Chairman Md Anwarul Alam welcomed the arrival of the first batch of vehicles, expressing optimism that the Hiace commuter vans would strengthen Pragoti’s operations.
