Indian PM saddened by Bangladesh landslides deaths
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his condolences over the landslide-related deaths in Bangladesh.

In his tweets Modi offered support to local search and rescue efforts, if necessary.
“Saddened by loss of lives in Bangladesh due to landslides. My thoughts are with the families of the deceased and prayers with the injured,” he tweeted.
“India stands shoulder to shoulder with Bangladesh. We stand ready to support local search and rescue efforts if required”.
At least 133, including four soldiers, have died after heavy rain triggered landslides in three hill districts of southeastern Bangladesh.
