At least four rooms of Suhrawardy Hall were ransacked during the clash shortly after midnight on Wednesday, police said.
It was the second round of clashes in two days between supporters of Chittagong University Chhatra League president Alamgir Tipu and those of general secretary Rabbi Sujon.
Earlier on Monday, at least six Chhatra League activists were injured in a clash over establishing supremacy on the campus.
On Tuesday night, the Chhatra League central committee suspended the university committee over the Monday clash.
