Teachers association President Lutful Hasan told reporters that the decision to resume classes was taken at a meeting on Tuesday.
He said they took the decision as many of their demands were met and also considering the students' future.
Meanwhile, Student Advisor Prof Sultan Uddin Bhuiyan and Provost of Ashraful Haque Hall Prof Rafiqul Islam stepped down on Tuesday over the killing, the university’s Registrar Abdul Khalek said.
