Biman Bangladesh Airlines will operate additional flights on three domestic routes to cope with extra pressure during Eid.

The national flag carrier issued a statement on Thursday, saying it would sell tickets for domestic flights at a lower price under the Eid Special Service scheme until July 31.
The statement said ‘special-additional’ flights would fly to Jessore, Rajshahi and Syedpur on July 15.
Tk 200 to 500 had been reduced in case of tickets for travel to any domestic destination from Dhaka, while the cut was up to Tk 1,000 for tickets to Dhaka from any location in the country, it said.
On the Dhaka-Sylhet route, Biman’s BG-607 flight would travel on Saturdays and charge a passenger Tk 2,000 with tax. The BG-605 flight – which operates on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – would charge Tk 2,500 with tax, the statement said.
Meanwhile, private airline United Airways announced special flights on the Dhaka-Syedpur and Dhaka-Jessore routes on July 16.
