IFC, Eastern Bank reach deal to serve SME clients better
The International Finance Corporation (IFC) has signed an agreement with the Eastern Bank Limited (EBL) for improved client services.

The EBL says the capacity of small and medium enterprise clients will be developed, while credit risk management will be improved.
EBL CEO Ali Reza Iftekhar and IFC Regional Industry Head Giri Jadeja signed the agreement on Wednesday.
Inessa Tolokonnikova, Mohammad Rehan Rashid, Ehsanul Azim, Parul Dudeja and Monzurul Huque from IFC and Md Khurshid Alam of EBL were present, among others.
