Khulna mob gouges out eyes of suspected mugger
A mob in Khulna has gouged out the eyes of a suspected mugger.

The incident was reported on Tuesday from the southwestern city, some 274 kilometres from capital Dhaka.
Two men, riding a motorcycle at Khalishpur, snatched a woman’s purse while she was on a rickshaw with her daughter, police said.
"The woman started to scream which prompted locals to capture one of the riders while his associate escaped on the motorcycle. They beat him up before gouging out his eyes," Inspector Md Nasim Khan told bdnews24.com.
The man was identified as Md Shahjalal, police said after admitting him to the Khulna Medical College Hospital.
The 31-year-old stands accused in several cases filed over murder, robbery and drug peddling, said Inspector Khan.
