Khulna BNP leader Alauddin Mithu shot dead
Unidentified gunmen have shot a BNP leader dead in Khulna.

The party's Khulna district unit Organising Secretary Alauddin Mithu was at his business organisation in front of his house in Fultala Bazar when the miscreants opened fire on him around 10pm on Thursday, police said quoting witnesses.
Fultala Police Station Inspector Sanwar Hossain Masum said Mithu's associate 'Nawsher' was also injured in the attack. He has been admitted to Khulna General Hospital.
The police officer said the miscreants came on two motorcycles and fled the scene immediately after opening fire.
Mithu is a former chairman of Fultala Upazila Parishad.
