Prime suspects of MP Liton murder arrested in Dhaka: RAB
RAB has arrested two, including the son of a Jamaat-e-Islami leader, as suspects for the murder of MP Manjurul Islam Liton.

The two were arrested from Dhaka’s Badda area on early Thursday, said RAB-1 Commander Tuhin Mohammad Masud.
They are ‘Ashraful’, son of Jamaat’s Sundarganj Upazila chief Haji Yunus, and his associate Jahirul Islam.
The RAB official said they were the main suspects for the Awami League leader’s murder in Gaibandha.
Liton was shot by assailants who entered his home on Dec 31. He later died at Rangpur Medical College Hospital.
