Bangladesh mission in Pakistan begins V-Day celebration
Bangladesh High Commission in Pakistan has organised a 'Bangladesh Food Festival' in Islamabad as part of the start of Victory Day celebrations.

The High Commission said they started celebrating from Saturday the victory snatched from Pakistan 45 years ago on Dec 16 in 1971.
Bangladesh’s images of rich culture, vibrant social life as well as traditional culinary excellence have been presented through the food festival at a hotel, the High Commission said in a statement.
High Commissioner Tarik Ahsan welcomed the guests that included diplomats, eminent personalities of Pakistan and expatriates Bangladeshis.
