Ex-college teacher found dead at Old DOHS house in Dhaka

Police have recovered the body of a retired college teacher from a house at Old DOHS in Dhaka's Banani area.

Ali Hossain Malik, 68, a former vice-principal of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College, was found dead in House No. 54/A at Road No. 2 where he was living after one Md Babul's son had left for Malaysia. 

His hands, legs and mouth were tied up, police said after the recovery Tuesday morning.  

"There were marks of knife wounds on the body," Bhashantek Police Station Sub-Inspector Asif Iqbal told bdnews24.com.
 
The police official could not immediately say the relation between Malik and Bablu.

Malik retired as a vice-principal of Government Shaheed Suhrawardy College.

SI Iqbal said he lived with his wife and a son in Mirpur-10 but left to stay in the Old DOHS house four days ago.     
      
The body was sent to Dhaka Medical College morgue for autopsy.
