Members of Chinese think-tank visit Bangladesh

A five-member delegation of a Chinese think-tank has called on State Minister for Foreign Affairs Md Shahriar Alam at his office.

Ji Zhiye of the China Institute of Contemporary International Relations (CICIR) is leading the team for a three-day visit at the invitation of Bangladesh Enterprise Institute.
 
They will leave on Wednesday, the foreign ministry said.
 
During the meeting with the state minster on Tuesday, they put emphasis on the exchange of ideas between the think tanks of the two countries for more cooperation in the areas of political, economic and other engagements.
 
Ji Zhiye said China is ready to expand its cooperation further for the development of infrastructure and other areas in Bangladesh.
