‘Reconsider your need to travel to Bangladesh’: Australia advises
Australia has enhanced the overall level of advice for its citizens to travel to Bangladesh.

It has been raised to 'reconsider your need to travel' on Monday.
"There is reliable information to suggest that militants may be planning to target Western interests in Bangladesh," Australian authorities said in a new travel alert.
This follows the July 1 hostage situation in a Dhaka cafe in which 20 people, mostly foreigners, were killed.
Australian officials continue to adopt heightened security precautions in Dhaka, and are limiting their movements in public places following the attack, said the advice.
"We advise you to reconsider your need to travel to Bangladesh due to the high threat of terrorist attack and the uncertain political situation," the new alert said.
