Man hacks wife, 3 in-laws in Lakshmipur

A man has hacked his wife and three in-laws following a family feud at Lakshmipur’s Raipur.

Police said the incident took place in a house on Abbas Ali Road in the Upazila headquarters early on Friday morning.
 
They said the accused, Nazmul Hossain, had been arrested.
 
The injured, bearing stab wounds on various parts of their bodies including abdomen, were first admitted to the Raipur Health Complex but were later shifted to the Lakshmipur General Hospital.
 
Raipur Police Station OC Lokman Hossain said they were preparing to start a case in connection with the incident.
 
Quoting locals, he said, Nazmul stabbed his wife Mahima Akter, sister-in-law Safura Akter and parents-in-law Mohin Uddin Babar and Angur Nesa during an altercation and fled.
