Natore man gets death for carrying 1.2 kg of heroin
A man, who was arrested with more than 1 kg of heroin in Natore, has been sentenced to death.

In 2012, police arrested 32-year-old Faruk Ahmed from a bus on a local highway in the northern district.
“Detectives found 1.2 kg of heroin in a bag with him,” said Prosecutor Sirajul Islam.
Ahmed has been in prison since his arrest on Jul 12 that year.
The court of Natore’s District and Session Judge delivered the verdict in the case on Thursday.
Defence counsel Dinai Tasrin said they will appeal against the verdict.
