Police arrest human trafficker at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar
Police have arrested a person accused in 20 human trafficking cases at Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar.

After the arrest of Mohammad Hashem, 46, from Shah Pori Island on Saturday, Teknaf Police Station OC Md Ataur Rahman Khandker said he was a member of an international gang of 11 human traffickers.
His name was on the home ministry’s list of human traffickers, the OC said.
“Hashem was on the run since the police intensified the drive against human trafficking. We raided the market area after getting information that that he had returned to the area recently,” he added.
