Saudi Arabia issued over 80,000 Hajj visas so far this year: Envoy
The newly appointed ambassador of Saudi Arabia has informed the foreign minister that they have so far issued visas for more than 80,000 Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrims.

Abdullah HM Almutairi briefed the progress to the minister Abul Hassan Mahmood Ali on Wednesday when he called on him, the foreign ministry said.
Almutairi arrived in Dhaka on July 26 this year, and presented credentials on Aug 19 to the President.
Prior to his Dhaka assignment, he was director at Follow-up Section in the Kingdom’s foreign ministry.
During the call on, the foreign ministry said, exchange of high-level visits between the countries and ways of strengthening the relations further had been discussed.
The ambassador has assured the foreign minister of his commitment to work on expanding the relations.
Minister Ali assured him all-out cooperation during his tenure in Dhaka.
