“We had 253 proposals before the meet, another 281 came up over the three days,” Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan said at the Secretariat on Thursday.

However, he added the final tally would go down as some proposals would be merged while those impossible to execute would be left out.

About implementation process, he said, “Some of the decisions, the policy issues, would be implemented by the ministries. Some would be implemented at organisational and field levels.”

Bhuiyan continued that the Cabinet Division would be monitoring the entire process.

He added, 31 proposals had come up in the open discussion between the prime minister and deputy commissioners.

She reportedly urged DCs to serve more as a citizen than as a government officer.
