Bangladesh Premier Sheikh Hasina was accorded a warm welcome upon her arrival at the Government House, the Thai premier's office
The decision was taken on Monday at a Cabinet meeting presided by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Cabinet Secretary Muhammad Musharraf Hossain Bhuiyan told a press briefing.
According to the Cabinet decisions, office hours have now been set at between 9am to 3:30pm.
Bhuiyan said the decision would be effective for all government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous offices during the Ramadan.
He said there will be a break from 1:15pm to 1:30pm for Zuhr prayers during office time.
But the Supreme Court, banks and other financial institutions will be free to decide their own working hours.
