The two has been identified as ‘Joynal’, 45, and ‘Litu’, 30, the elder brother of Joynal's son in law.
“Their bodies were recovered on Friday morning from the field after locals alerted the police. Both bodies have wounds made by sharp weapons,” Kotwali Police OC Shikder Akkas Ali said. He added that Joynal had a number of cases against him for violence.
Ali said that the family had claimed that the two left for Beledanga Village at 8pm on Thursday but did not return. “We are trying to find out who killed them and why.”
