A team of FBI representative arrives in Dhaka
A FBI (Federal Bureau of Investigation) team from the US arrived at Dhaka on Wednesday night to help investigate the murder of writer-blogger Avijit Roy.

The four-member team of FBI met Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Branch officials on Thursday noon, said Dhaka Metropolitan Police’s Joint Commissioner Monirul Islam.

However, the deputy commissioner did not disclose the names and designations of the FBI agents.
Avijit Roy, a citizen of the US came to Bangladesh during the Ekushey Book Fair. He was hacked to death at the University campus on Feb 26. His wife, Rafida Ahmed Bonya was also injured in the attack.
She has returned to the US for better treatment.
