Three people have died in an ‘encounter’ with Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) in Sundarbans in Bagerhat.

RAB officials say the dead were members of a local gang of robbers called ‘Sagor Shoikot’.
RAB-8 officer Major Adnan Kabir said the shootout occurred near the Katlarkhal area in eastern Sundarbans on Thursday morning.
However, they could not provide details to the reporters.
